Carla Vazzana studied music at the Municipal Music Institute of Avellaneda and at the National University of the Arts, graduating as a Bachelor of Musical Arts with piano orientation.
In 2021 she obtained the "Diploma in Music and Tango Poetics" at the National University of the Arts. She is currently continuing his postgraduate studies at the National University of Rosario, where she is pursuing a Master's Degree in Chamber Music Performance.
She trained under pianists Antonio De Raco, Jorge Bergaglio and Agustina Herrera; and chamber music with Fernando Pérez, Antonio Formaro, Stanimir Todorov. She studied composition, musical analysis and audio-perception with Graciela Tarchini.
She developed postgraduate studies in Germany with Paul Trein in the «Sommerakademie fur Klavier und Kammermusik», in Konz (2011 and 2015), and with Günter Ludwig in the «Mattheiser Sommer-Akademie», in Bad Sobernheim (2015), in which she won a full scholarship.
In Argentina, she participated in the 2nd Mercosur Piano Meeting, Camping Musical Bariloche (2012). She received several scholarships from the National Endowment for the Arts to participate in the "IV Musical Composition and Improvisation Meeting" (2015), "Group Scholarship for Trainers" as a member of the Musical Analysis Center CAM (2019) and "Strengthening Culture Scholarship" (2020).
She took courses and master classes with Edith Fischer (Chile), Jordi Mora (Spain), Luca Chiantore (Spain), Stefano Mancuso (Italy), Cinzia Bartoli (Italy), Charlotte Tomlinson (England).
She performed as soloist in the United States, Germany, Luxembourg, France and Chile. She performed concerts in several Argentine venues, such as "Centro Cultural Kirchner", "La Usina del Arte", "Teatro York de Olivos", "Templo de la Comunidad Amijai", "Centro Cultural Recoleta", "Universidad Católica", "Centro Nacional de la Música", "Salón Dorado Casa de la Cultura", "Auditorio de la Catedral de La Plata", among others.
She played as a soloist with the orchestra "Ensamble Sinfónico 21", in which she also played as a member pianist. She has wide experience in chamber music as a member of different ensembles.
She was awarded in the "VII Fundación Catedral de La Plata" Piano Competition (Second Prize), in the in the "Musicarte XXI" Pianists Competition (Special Mention), in the "V Lumen Artis Competition of Chamber Music, Singing and Piano" of the City Bell Chamber Theater (Third Prize) and in the "Golden Era of Romantic Music International Competition 2016" organized by the American Fine Arts Festival, whose prize included a concert at Weill Recital Hall of Carnegie Hall, New York.
Currently, in addition to her intense activity as a performer, she is dedicated to teaching and research as a member of CAM, Musical Analysis Center. She is also a teacher and piano accompanist at the Superior Conservatory of Music "Manuel de Falla", and pianist for the Classical Dance course at the Superior Institute of Art of Colón Theater.
